Meet the Workshop Leaders

  • Nina Veteto

    Outdoor enthusiast and regular workshop leader for WOW, Nina Veteto leads groups in various fun and interactive courses throughout the weekend. This year, Nina is taking the lead in the Rucking 101 course as well as the Green Sketching workshop.

  • Erin Roof

    Coming back to lead this year’s yoga workshop is the fan favorite, Erin Roof. Her calming presence matches the serenity of her workshop and we look forward to it with each coming year.

  • Tracy Mcpherson

    Seasoned backpacker and outdoor enthusiast, Tracy Mcpherson, is bringing some great workshops to this year’s WOW. This year she will be instructing the backpacking workshop and campfire cooking workshop. Tracy will also be hosting a Q & A during the cocktail hours as a way for you to ask any of your questions about outdoor recreation.

  • Jessica Reader

    Jessica Lee Reader is a Master Nutrition Therapist, Board-Certified Health Coach, and Yoga Teacher with over 15 years experience working with individuals and groups to optimize digestion, metabolism, energy, and over well-being.

  • Leah Wilbanks

    Woman-power advocate and representative of SASS Go, Leah Wilbanks is coming back for her second year and bringing with her two self defense classes. She has been teaching women all over how to defend themselves and feel more comfortable & confident when going out alone.

  • Tim Lee

    We are excited to have Tim Lee join the WOW team as a new instructor and this year he is bringing us a whole NEW workshop, birding! Tim is a park ranger with over 11 years of experience in educating others about the native species and natural wonders of South Carolina.

  • James Stanton

    Back for another year, James Stanton, is joining us to lead both kayaking workshops. Jim is the program coordinator for SC Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism. His love for the outdoors and years of experience makes his kayaking workshop and great addition to your WOW weekend.
